Philippines bags overall championship in the 6th Asia Pacific Arts Festival in Vietnam as Young Filipino Ballerinas rake awards

Another honor and glory to the Philippines as the young Filipino ballerinas ages 7-19 bagged the overall champion in the 6th Asia Pacific Arts Festival (APAF) in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam held from January 19-20, 2019.
This proves that the Filipinos are not only superior and globally competitive in sports but also in the field of arts and culture.
There were 19 young ballerinas who represented the Philippines in the said prestigious international competition. They bagged 27 gold, 7 silver and 1 bronze awards and this made the Philippine Young Ballerina team the overall champion.
The festival was attended by participants from Indonesia, Malaysia, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Vietnam, the host of 6th Asia Pacific Arts Festival.
APAF aims to pursuit towards harmony, peace and global friendship through diversified cultural exchange and performing arts competitions and has been successfully held for the past 6 years with participants from Brunei, Cambodia, China, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Vietnam, etc.
Its mission is to encourage youth participants to nurture and cultivate peace and unity through the understanding of the diversity of cultures, races, languages, faiths, traditions, and customs. Our vision is to ultimately attain peace and unity through mutual understanding of each other through the expression of our love for the Arts.
